  • Illnesses

We have had 4 confirmed cases of strep and 1 confirmed case of the flu since Christmas break. Please remind your children of good handwashing practices. If your child has any symptoms, please visit your pediatrician before returning to school symptom free for 24 hours.


  • Bowling Fun to kick off Lutheran School’s week

We will be hosting a bowling party on Jan. 22nd at 1pm. The children will be provided 2 bowling games, shoe rental and a hot dog. Other food will be available for purchase at the concession stand. 6th-8th graders will be “Bowling for Dollars” for their trip to Chicago. The price of admission for the children is a “comfort item”. It could be a scarf and gloves set, coat, blanket, etc. All items will be donated to St. Trinity.


  • Report Cards

1st Semester report cards are open for viewing. If anyone is having difficulty viewing, please let me know and I’d be happy to help you.

  • 8th Grade Shadow Day

The 8th Graders will be shadowing at OFHS on Monday, Jan 22nd. Please have your child at the guidance office by 7:30am. If you need help with transportation, please let me know.







  • Lutheran Schools Week

Lutheran Schools’ week is fast approaching. We have a Disney Theme Week planned with fun activities and school spirit.


Mon-Disney/Ohana Day-Dress as your favorite Disney character or dress Hawaiian Style

Tues-Colors of the Wind-Dress in Green and Gold to show school spirit

Wed-Tangled Day-Dress wacky, wild, twisted and tangled up

Thurs-You Got a Friend in Me-Dress as twins, triplets, etc. or wear your Trinity Shirt

Fri-Sleeping Beauty and Wall-E Day-Dress in you PJs/comfy clothes and bring your electronics


  • Blood Drive

The 6th-8th Graders are hosting a Mississippi Valley Blood Drive on Thursday, January 25th from 3:00-6:30pm. If you are interested, please contact one of them or the office to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins will also be welcome.


  • Thrivent Action Teams Needed

Thank you to Pam Dunkmann for volunteering to sponsor an Action Team for Trivia. If we can get one more person to apply for a card for the auctions, it would be greatly appreciated. Please let Kelly Hollrah or Jenny Dunkmann know if you are willing to help.
